Baidu Netdisk in English: how to use a share page
Baidu Netdisk has no English version. A walkthrough of a pan.baidu.com share page: the code box, the file list, each button, and where it stops you.
Baidu Netdisk has no English version, so a share page can be hard to follow. This walkthrough describes a public share page as it looked when we checked on 31 October 2026, going by where things sit on the page. Your browser's translate feature can put the labels into English, but short button labels often come out oddly.
Step 1: the extraction code page
If the share is protected, the first page shows the sharer's name and one input box with a blue button under it.
- Type the four-character extraction code into the box. Baidu says the code is not case-sensitive.
- Click the blue button to open the share.
- If a second box with a small picture appears, Baidu wants a captcha: type the characters from the picture.
- The link next to the sharer's name adds them as a friend. You do not need it.
If you do not have the code, ask the person who shared the link. See where to find the extraction code.
Step 2: the file list
Next you see the shared files:
- At the top are the share's name, the date it was shared, and when it expires or a note that it never does.
- Links on the right let you subscribe to changes or open the share on your phone or computer. You can also report the share there.
- Below is the list of files and folders with their dates. Click a folder to open it; a link above the list takes you back up.
- Each item has a checkbox, and a counter shows how many items you have selected.
Step 3: the buttons at the bottom
At the bottom of the page are the two buttons that matter:
- Save to Netdisk is the blue button. It copies the selected files into your own Baidu account and needs a login and enough free space. The box to its left shows the folder they are saved to.
- Download is the lighter button next to it. It asks you to log in first, and then sends larger files, folders and several files at once to the Baidu Netdisk desktop app.
You may also see offers for SVIP, Baidu's paid membership for faster downloads.
Step 4: the links at the top
The links at the top right of the page are for logging in, signing up, downloading the desktop app and opening Baidu's membership center. To sign up from outside China, see which phone numbers work.
When the share does not open
Instead of the file list, you may get one of these messages:
- The share has been cancelled. The page tells you that you are too late. The owner stopped sharing, or Baidu removed the files.
- The content may involve infringement or other banned material. Baidu blocked the share.
- Some files broke the rules and were filtered out. Part of the share is hidden.
- The share is no longer valid. It has expired.
Only the owner can fix these, by sharing the files again. See when a Baidu share link is not working.
Skip the Chinese pages
If all you want is the files, you do not need any of this. Paste the link into PanPull's link checker: it picks up a code included in the link, shows the number of files, their total size and the price, and lets you download them in your browser without a Baidu account. Use it only for files you have the right to download.
Paste your share link
Check the total size first. You will see the full price before checkout; checking a link does not charge you.
